How does a cantilever gate work?
It slides sideways on rollers mounted to posts beside the opening, with a counterbalance section behind it, so nothing touches the ground in the opening.
What do I need beside the opening?
Room along the fence line for the gate to slide back, roughly the width of the opening plus its counterbalance.
